Big bikes roll into Pattaya for annual jamboree

Today sees the start of the annual Burapha Bike Fest in Pattaya and hundreds of big bikes have been seen making their way to the Thai seaside resort town. The Pattaya National Sports Stadium is the venue for the event and is located on Soi Chaiyapreuk.

This year is the 18th time Pattaya has staged this big bike extravaganza. If previous years are anything to go by, festival attendees and motorcyclist enthusiasts will have plenty to hold their attention.

Harley Davidsons and customized choppers are among the two-wheeled beasts spotted making their way to Soi Chaiyapreuk. The majority of the more unusual bikes will be on display at the stadium. The bikers also hold a cavalcade through the streets of the resort to promote motorcycling for fun.

The Burapha Bike Fest generates funds for charity and there is usually plenty of live music and entertainment on offer. Rumour has it that a member of iconic rock band Guns N' Roses will be on stage. Beer and snack tents will be open as usual.
