AirAsia's Rebooking Policy Updated

Following multiple requests for rebooking due to flight cancellations, AirAsia has updated its rebooking policy.

Now AirAsia's customers who hold tickets issued on or before 22 March 2020 with a departure date between 23 March and 31 May 2020 are offered two following options for rebooking of their flights.

Option 1. Unlimited Flight Change
Customers can change the travel date of their ticket. The new travel date should be before 31 October 2020; the route should remain the same. The travel date can be changed an unlimited number of times without any additional cost subject to seat availability.

Option 2. Credit Account
Customers can retain the value of the flight booking in their AirAsia BIG Member account. This amount can be later used for any future travel with AirAsia but has to be redeemed within 365 calendar days from the issuance date. In this case, customers can book tickets for any date within the published flight schedule and on any route on airasia.com.

Please note that the above rebooking policy concerns tickets booked directly via airasia.com. For tickets booked via travel agents or group booking, customers should contact their booking agent directly for further assistance.

As the situation changes quickly, travellers are highly advised to carefully monitor their airline's website and social media accounts for updates.
