Windsor Suites Bangkok by Accor Closes Temporarily

Bangkok's four star The Windsor Suites Hotel, managed by Accor, has announced it will close temporarily from the end of April, 2020.

The reason for closure as announced by the management is a 'dramatic downturn in business' which is in major part due to the latest Coronavirus outbreak and drastic fall in Chinese visitors.

The management also disclosed they are going to use the time of the hotel's closure for carrying out some renovation works to make the hotel ready to open when the tourist market rebounces back with the suffiicient demand.

The current hotel staff will all be made redundant and will have to reapply to work again if they wish to get the position back after the hotels opens. In this case they will be given priority over other candidates.

The Windsor Suites Hotel is centrally located on Sukhumvit Road Soi 20, some 300 m from Asok BTS station. It provides an easy accsess to Bangkok's downtown area and many attractions and sights via BTS.

There are 347 suites in Windsor Suites Hotel which is rated 8.5 points for its location and 7.8 points – for an overall performance on Booking.com.
