Christmas Markets in Asia That Made It to the List of Worlds' 50 Best

Christmas is almost here but there is still enough time to enjoy the best Christmas markets around the world. Big 7 Travel website compiled a list of 50 destinations you have to check out.

Rather unsurprisingly, the list is dominated by Christmas markets in European and American cities spiced with several Australian destinations. Yet there are a couple of exceptions for those who would like to catch this Christmas' mood in Asia.

Singapore comes 11th with its Gardens by the Bay's Christmas Wonderland is rightdully among the best Christmas markets of the world. Expect carnival games, snow in the tropics, Christmas Parades on certain dates and special Yuletide food.

Roppongi Hills Christmas Market in Tokyo, Japan, is ranked 27th. It is one of the most popular Christmas markets in Asia. The market offers German-style live carol performers, crafts, twinkling lights, a true holiday atmosphere and authentic German dishes.

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, head right to the Christmas Quarter market. Organized by APW Bangsar, the market greets visitors with fun activities, caroling, pantomimes and more. It comes the 35th in the rating.

Christmasland in New Taipei City, Taiwan, is the last Christmas market from Asia featured in the list under number 46. Held on a huge urban square, it offers one of the tallest Christmas trees in the country, light tunnels and a glimmering winter forest installation.
