T'way Airlines, a South Korean low-cost airline and the third largest Korean low-cost carrier in the international market, launched a direct flight between Zhangjiajie, a tourist city in the northwestern Hunan Province, and Daegu, the fourth largest city in South Korea. Flights are operated since October, 13. The service is provided twice weekly, on Wednesday and Sunday.
Zhangjiajie is a prime tourist destination in China. The Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie is included into UNESCO's World Natural Heritage List and is a national 5A scenic area in China. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park became hugely popular across the world after a 2009 American epic science fiction movie Avatar was filmed there.
Shenzhen Airlines, a member of Star Alliance and one of only two Chinese airlines that are part of the global airline network, will introduce a new direct flight between Wuxi, Jiangsu Province of China, and Sapporo, Japan, effective from November 1st. It is the first direct flight to connect Wuxi and Sapporo. The service will be provided on a daily bases.
Wuxi City, on the southern border of Jiangsu Province sitting by the Tai Lake boasts balmy climate and is affectionately dubbed the 'Land of Fish and Rice'. It is a famous tourist destination in China.
