Resorts World Genting to Host Al Fresco Carnival

Resorts World Genting, a huge entertaining complex comprising hotels, theme parks, shopping malls and casinos in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, is hosting the first Starlight Carnival this month.

The event will take place between October, 10 and November 2 every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and will feature films, music, food and games at Century Lake Park.

Located on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali at 1,800 meters high, Resorts World Genting enjoy cooler climate all year round without oppressive tropical heat of the capital. Genting's weather permits to organize European-style open-air carnivals without guests suffering from scorching temperatures.

Resorts World Genting promise to amaze movie fans with great cinematic experience with blockbusters shown on a supersized pop-up screen. The open-air Movie Under The Stars will lend a new dimension to the atmosphere of the films with the chirping chorus of nocturnal animals live.

Genting Highlands are located 60 km northeast of Kuala Lumpur. A taxi ride takes about two hours. There are public buses between Kuala Lumpur and Genting, too.
