A series of parks and other attractions in China have announced special prices for visitors on the National Day of the People's Republic of China celebrated on October, 1. Some venues and attractions will open for free on that day.

In Beijing, the public are invited to visit for free some of the most famous parks and sights of the Chinese capital including Temple of Heaven, Ditan Park, Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo, Taoranting Park, Chaoyang Park, Beijing International Sculpture Park and Beijing Garden Expo Park. Yet visitors will need to book their free tickets in advance as the number of visitors can be limited.
