The route is served three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. ATR 72-600 70-seaters will be used on this route. In Jakarta, flights take off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport at 11 am and In Tasikmalaya, they land in Wiriadinata airport at 12.50 pm. The return flight departs at 2 pm and arrives to the destination at 3 pm. The flying time is one hour. The new route is conveniently scheduled to connect flights from Palembang, South Sumatra, via Halim Perdanakusuma to Tasikmalaya and other cities of Indonesia.
Located in West Java, Tasikmalaya is eyed as a destination with good business and tourism potential. Garuda's lauch of the new route is a sign of support of the President’s call for better air connectivity with Tasikmalaya.
