Thai tourism board introduces new guide app

Thailand’s tourist bureau has introduced a new country guide app for iPads. Announcing the release of ‘Yours’, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) spokesperson Santi Chudinthra said it was the board’s initial online travel guide app and that eventually the ‘Yours Connect’ family would support all android devices.

‘Yours’ users have a wealth of information at their fingertips with this bespoke E-travel magazine. A couple of taps can lock users into recommended hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and sightseeing hotspots. The app’s interactive map ensures tourists will never lose their way in Thailand and comes with an integrated route-planner.

TAT says ‘Yours’ is the ultimate guide to everything related to Thailand and that users will never need to download another guide app or buy a hardcopy guide book. ‘Yours’ was a collaboration between media, design and app developers such as LogicBaker.

For iPad owners, ‘Yours’ can be yours by following the link from the TAT website to the iTunes page. The app is compatible with iOS 7.0 or higher. ‘Yours’ is the latest in a number of innovative forays into the digital marketing and travel guide field by TAT. Its home page has links to the majority of them.
