Explore Yogya with Jogja International Heritage Walk

On November 17 and 18, Jogja International Heritage Walk will return to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with over 2500 guests from 21 counry around the world participating in the event.

Jogja International Heritage Walk is an international walking event focusing both on healthy way of living and protection of the environment. Held by Jogya Walking Association, this year there willl be the 10th issue of the JIHW. This time the event will offer three categories: 5 kilometers, 10 km and 20 km and is themed 'Save the Nature, Respect the Culture, Jogja to the World'.

The Heritage Walk is not only about walking. During the event the visitors will enjoy a variety of traditional performances and music shows including wayang wong acoustic music show and the topeng pedalangan dance as well as the cucuk lampah performance by Gedruk Lampah Buto in the Prambanan temple.

Besides, the program of the Heritage Walk will feature a herbal drinks workshop, free zumba classes, an umbrella painting competition, gaming activities for kids plus an organic culinary festival on the initiative of the Indonesian Organic Community. On the first day, the participants will check in at Brahma Field and Prambanan Temple while the friendship dinner will be served at Joglo Turi, Kalangan Village. On the second day the walking itinerary will include Pancoh Tourism Village with the farewell dinner at Bilik Kayu Heritage.

Thai AirAsia Expands Its Reach with New Routes to Shanghai and Kaohsiung

Thai AirAsia has broadened its route network with the introduction of new services to both Shanghai and Kaohsiung. The low-cost carrier (LCC) will operate five direct flights weekly between Don Mueang (DMK) and Shanghai (PVG), and four flights per week between DMK and Kaohsiung (KHH).
