- Kuala Lumpur – Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Carcosa Sri Negara, and Majestic HotelThe Sultan Abdul Samad Building dates back to 1897. It was named after the state ruler of that time. Carcosa Sri Negara, located in Perdana Botanic Gardens, was built in 1897, too, and served as the official residence of the first British high commissioner in Malaysia. Majestic Hotel, 1932, was designed by a Dutch firm in the neo-classical and art deco style.
2. Perak – Ipoh Railway Station, Kellie’s Castle
One of the most iconic landmarks of Perak, Ipoh Railway Station, was opened in 1894 while more recent (1926) Kellie's Castle was built by a Scottish rubber plantator for his wife.

The current version of Suffolk House dates back to 1809 while the first version was founded in 1790s by Francis Light, founder of Penang.

Bishop’s House is the oldest European-style building in Kuching. It was built in 1849.

This Anglican church located in Sandakan was errected in 1925 and is now one of few historical buildings in Sarawak.
