The domestic unit of national carrier of Thailand Thai Airways International - Thai Smile would have to move from Suvarnabhumi Airport in accordance with the idea of National Council for Peace and Order.

The final decision on this issue will be taken in meeting 14 August. If the plan is approved, Thai Smile should move to Don Mueang Airport in the beginning of the next year. These changes may have a positive impact on competition between domestic carriers in Thailand, but will create inconvenience to Thai Airways’ customers who use international and domestic flights in a one trip.
