Thai Air Asia opens new destination in Thailand

To develop northeast of Thailand the budget carrier Thai Air Asia will open new destination this autumn.

 Flights to Sakon Nakhon will be launched on 1 October. Sakon Nakhon is known as a place of a large Christian community and famous for its Christmas celebrations.

Peak travels to Sakon Nakhon is reached in December and January, so two daily flights from Bangkok should enjoy great popularity in the coming season. Thai Air Asia actively engaged in the development of the northeast. Now it offers flights to Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Nakhon Panom and transfers to Mukdaharn. National carrier Thai Airways International, on the contrary, reduces its presence in the region.
