A recent study by the Honeywell Aerospace company has shown us that in-flight WiFi is a key factor when travelers choosing an airline. 22% of all passengers are willing to spend more to stay in touch.

A recent study by the Honeywell Aerospace company has shown us that in-flight WiFi is a key factor when travelers choosing an airline. 22% of all passengers are willing to spend more to stay in touch.

66% of respondents said, that availability of WiFi on a board influences their choice of the air carrier. 17% chose another airline instead of their former preferred carrier because a competitor offered better WiFi options. However, 54% of travelers say they would be embarrassed if their in-flight neighbors caught a glimpse of what they were doing online.

1,000 people took part in the survey in the last 12 months.
