State Railway of Thailand Electric Train (SRT) isn’t satisfied with the work of airline check-in service at the Makkasan Airport Rail Link (ARL) station in Bangkok. It enjoys low demand and is under threat of closure.

Only several passengers use check-in service per day and around 200 per month. It’s not even enough to recoup all costs as SRT pays 5,27 million baht each month to operate the Makkasan check-in system. Despite this SRT isn’t going to close the system, but rather plans to attract more customers.
