Air Asia receives the title of the best budget airline for the sixth time in a row

Yesterday in London the winners of the international competition «Skytrax World Airlines Award» were awarded. Malaysian low-cost carrier «Air Asia» has been named the "World's Best Low-Cost Airline" and "Asia's Best Low-Cost Airline".

Today in London the winners of the international competition «Skytrax World Airlines Award» were awarded. Malaysian low-cost carrier «Air Asia», which has a lot of units in Asia has been named the "World's Best Low-Cost Airline" and "Asia's Best Low-Cost Airline" for the sixth consecutive year. The annual global survey during competition covering over 245 airlines and opinions of 18.9 million customers.

Tony Fernandes, АirAsia Group chief executive officer, has personally received the award. During a solemn speech, he singled out the last most important events for Air Asia: the opening of Air Asia India and the development on Japanese low-cost airlines’ market.
