Today in Thailand was started a long three-day weekend on the occasion of Asarnha Bucha Day or the beginning of Buddhist Lent. Thai Ministry of Transport has taken all the necessary measures to locals and visitors can safely move around the country in this period without any difficulty.

Today in Thailand was started a long three-day weekend on the occasion of Asarnha Bucha Day or the beginning of Buddhist Lent. Thai Ministry of Transport has taken all the necessary measures to locals and visitors can safely move around the country in this period without any difficulty.

In particular, they formed 11 service centers jointly with Department of Land Transport and the Ministry of the Interior. Road contractors stoped their work temporarily and the traffic policy especially closely monitors the situation on the roads. Thai buses will operate 900 additional trips during this weekend while the State Railway of Thailand added 50 more bogies.
