Islamic holiday Idul Fitri also known as Eid-al-Fitr, which will hold this year on 28 July, caused some excitement among the Muslim population in overpopulated Java, whereby there were concerns about the unavailability of transportation tickets for these days.

Nevertheless, the representatives of Indonesian railways claim that train tickets  to eastern parts of Java, which are the most popular places for celebration Idul Fitri, are still available. Travelers can buy tickets from Jakarta to Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, Surakarta and Surabaya for departures made 7 days and 10 days prior to Idul Fitri.

«Passengers don’t have to worry, security staff will do everything to prevent possible acts of sabotage that occurred a year ago», - they said.
