Air Asia, the best and biggest budget airline of the Southeast Asia makes a second attempt to enter the Japanese avia market.

Air Asia, the best and biggest budget airline of the Southeast Asia makes a second attempt to enter the Japanese avia market. Air Asia will open new airline in Japan jointly with the major partner e-commerce company Rakuten and others. The carrier will take a 49% stake in the new airline, Rakuten - 18% .

To date, the company gave no details about the new carrier, probably due to strong competition, which is growing between budget airlines of Japan since 2012 year. As expected the new carrier of Air Asia will start to serve first flights next year.
