The Thai military junta continues its program of tough measures to abolish illegal taxis on the streets of the Bangkok. They decided to install fare boards at the all of taxi parking places.

The Thai military junta continues its program of tough measures to abolish illegal taxis on the streets of the Bangkok. Except electronic cards in line for a taxi at Suvarnabhumi Airport and checking documents taxi drivers the army decided to install fare boards at the all of taxi parking places.

Well, now taxi drivers will be extremely difficult to cheat foreign tourists and rip off triple price, as it often happened before. As Thai media reported, 1,000 of the 6,300 motorcycle taxi drivers in Bangkok have no licenses. Totally about 100,000 taxis in Thai capital work illegally.
