Mandala Airlines Indonesia will cease operations on July 1

Mandala Airlines based in Indonesia will cease operations on July 1 this year as it is currently not able to recoup the costs and it's loss-making. Despite the fact that the Mandala's key shareholder Mandala Airlines is successful Singaporean Tigerair, it could not continue to pay Mandala’s debts.

Mandala Airlines based in Indonesia will cease operations on July 1 this year as it is currently not able to recoup the costs and it's loss-making. Despite the fact that the Mandala's key shareholder Mandala Airlines is successful Singaporean Tigerair, it could not continue to pay Mandala’s debts.

Mandala Airlines operates mostly domestic flights and several regional flights, all its affected customers will be able to choose another airline for getting the same destination or to get money refunds. The company already showed signs of failure in January 2011, when due to the large debt was temporarily closed, but was reopened in April 2012 year.
