Cambodia Angkor Air’s chairman, Tekret Samrach reported, the company delayed the its regional expansion because of political instability and inimical situation in Thailand and Vietnam. The launching of new Cambodia Angkor Air’s regional flights was postponed from the end of this year to the next.

It is not clear how the situation in Thailand and Vietnam influenced the planned new direct flights of Cambodia Angkor Air to Beijing, Tokyo and Singapore. According to the management company, the flow of tourists to Cambodia declined sharply, as it directly depended on the tourism in Thailand and Vietnam. The launching new flights from Cambodia may be disadvantageous.
