Transport of Singapore is the most economical in the world

According to a study of London consulting firm Credo, public transportation system in Singapore is the world’s most efficient.

According to a study of London consulting firm Credo, public transportation system in Singapore is the world’s most efficient. This conclusion was based on study researches fares, trip time, crowding levels and ease of using the system.

The study covered 35 of the most developed cities in the world and according to the results, the economic cost of transport to an individual passenger is 8.9% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita. Despite the high cost of living in Singapore, the use of public transport is affordable and profitable for bulk of the total population.
