Trains in Narathiwat will be restored on Friday

The repair works on the Southern Thai Railways’ section in Rangae district of Narathiwat province to be completed tomorrow.

The repair works on the Southern Thai Railways’ section in Rangae district of Narathiwat province to be completed tomorrow. We remind, that the railway bridge was damaged with the the bomb on 14May and it stoped all trains to the Sungai Kolok on the Malaysian border.

State of Railway of Thailand (SRT) official reported, tomorrow the repair will be finished and diesel locomotive will test the strength of the bridge. If the tests will be successful, work of  the trains will be restored. As planned the first trains to be launched tomorrow are No 448 (Sungai Kolok-Surat Thani) and No 453 (Yala - Sungai Kolok).
