National Highway 1 of Vietnam was damaged

The road section between Vinh City and Ha Tinh Province opened four months ago was damage by overloaded trucks.

In January this year the repair and expansion of the 35km section of National Highway No1 in Vietnam was completed with investment US$ 119 million. Unfortunately this section between Vinh City and Ha Tinh Province opened four months ago was damage by overloaded trucks.

According to experts, the reason was harsh hot weather, which adversely affected the quality of road surface. Overloaded trucks only made the situation worse.

Now the administration of the project stops trucks from using affected stretches while the repair will not be completed, they also will take measures to curb the impacts of hot weather on the road.
