Shop and Dine in Mae Sot, Buriram and Udon Thani this Summer

This year, Thailand's annual shopping festival will have a totally new twist with TAT's campaign 'Thailand Shopping and Dining Paradise 2018'.

The shopping extravaganza will last three summer months, from June, 1 till August, 31 with three border provinces of the Greater Mekong Subregion in the main focus. To get the most of the festival, head to Mae Sot in Tak or Buriram or Udon Thani in Isan.

In Mae Sot, located in the west of the country on the border with Myanmar, 270 shops and restaurants will take part in the campaign under the 'Travel, Shopping, Dining in the Land of Mae Sot' theme.

Over 100 exhibitors presenting the leading Thai design brands will participate in a special event held within the framework of the shopping festival in Buriram. 'Blue City, Variety of Good Products' event will be held at Buriram Castle during June, 29–July, 1.

Udon Thani, close to the border ith Laos, will offer its visitors the tastiest part of the festival with its 'Udon Serves Happiness in All Menus' event during July, 6–8 held in Thong Yai Road and filled with a variety of cultural performances and activities, and, of course, a huge selection of local specialties like larb bpet (spice duck salad) or som tam (green papaya salad).

The opening ceremony of the shopping festival in Bangkok will take place on June, 15–17 at MBK Avenue, MBK Centre.
