As an attempt to restore the reputation of local airlines after the incident with flight MH370, next Friday Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur opens the world's largest airport for low-cost carriers.
It’s close to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the $1.2 billion project should have opened three years ago. New low-cost terminal (KLIA2) will start to operate 56 flights on Friday and plans to increase their number. The capacity of KLIA2 is 15 million passengers in a year. The best low-cost airline of the region Air Asia will fly from KLIA2 since 9 May.
