Laos constructs two new airports

Next year Laos will complete the construction of two new airports: Nong Khang Airport in Xamnuea district and the Attapeu Airport in Attapeu province.

Next year Laos will complete the construction of two new airports: Nong Khang Airport in Xamnuea district and the Attapeu Airport in Attapeu province.

Attapeu province of very distant from other cities and borders Vietnam and Cambodia, the opening of the Airport here will promote trade between them and Laos and the development of international tourism. As expected Attapeu Airport to be opened in May 2015 year, now the construction is 50% completed.

Nongkhang Airport is just 10% completed now, but the developers plan to open it in June 2015 year.
