Thailand increases security in public transport

Due to upcoming Songkran festival the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRT) and The State Railway of Thailand will increase security measures

Due to upcoming Songkran festival the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRT) and The State Railway of Thailand will increase security measures to ensure that citizens and tourists will have calm and joyous holidays.

Thai Railways will also add more trains during Songkran from 11 to 20 April to meet the growing number of passengers. As expects around million passengers will take a train in Songkran. Sky Trains and the Underground will be protected with rescue personnel with sniffer dogs to prevent any possible incidents.
