Thai motorways to be equipped with easy-pass system

As the head of The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), Aiyanat Thinaphai reported, its plans to cooperate with the Department of Highways and equip the motorways of Thailand with Easy-Pass system.

As the head of The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), Aiyanat Thinaphai reported, its plans to cooperate with the Department of Highways and equip the motorways of Thailand with Easy-Pass system to ease the road traffic. This toll collecting system is very effective on the expressways and should also support the tolls collection on the motorways.

If the system will be launched, the capacity of Easy-Pass system per day will be increased up to 50,000 – 60,000 vehicles.
