Air Asia renews the air fleet

Air Asia as the most actively developing airline plans to sell old aircrafts for to buy the new later.

Air Asia as the most actively developing airline plans to sell old aircrafts for to buy the new later. The carrier is going to sell six its aircraft of 9 to 10 years old and to raise about $120 million (RM394.02 million) during this year.

Now the Air Asia air fleet consists of 138 aircraft (A320s) and it should be expanded up to 170 in the nearest future. From 2016 year the carrier will use Neo - fuel–efficient Airbus aircraft.
