Son Nhat international airport to be expanded

The decision to expand the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City was taken during the meeting Airports Corporation of Viet Nam with the Minister of Transport.

The decision to expand the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City was taken during the meeting Airports Corporation of Viet Nam with the Minister of Transport. It should help to increase the capacity and to meet the growing travelers demand. As expects the Airport will be extended by 3,900 sq metres and will get 40 more check-in desks.

The the Tan Son Nhat Airport should operate more daily flights, but it hasn’t enough aircraft parking spots. Now there are only 40 sports, but the Airport needs 60-65. The proposed Long Thanh International Airport also will support the congested the Tan Son Nhat Airport.
