The longest bridge in SEA to be opened today in Malaysia

The second Penand Bridge which connects Batu Maung with Batu Kawan will be opened today in Malaysia at 8:30pm.

The second Penand Bridge which connects Batu Maung with Batu Kawan will be opened today in Malaysia at 8:30pm. It should become the longest bridge in South-East Asia as it takes 24km with 16,9km over the water. The construction of such a massive project took no less than 6 years.

The officers, including former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, will be the first persons who come to the bridge, after them the second Penang Bridge will be opened for public from the stroke of midnight.
