First tourist buses will be launched in Jakarta

Five double-decker buses arrived on the last week in Tanjung Priok Port in North Jakarta are ready to serve foreign tourists.

Under the leadership of the Jakarta Governor new tourist project was launched in the Indonesian capital. Five double-decker buses arrived on the last week in Tanjung Priok Port in North Jakarta are ready to serve foreign tourists.

The route of the tourist buses will include the most popular sites and tourist attractions of Jakarta. The big surprise is that double-decker buses are absolutely free for passengers. They should become a symbolic icon of the city’s tourism.

The development of the buses’ route is in process, but as expects, it will include the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle, Blok M in South Jakarta, the Textile Museum, Old Town in West Jakarta and the National Monument (Monas) in Central Jakarta.
