HCM City offers free bus service for senior citizens

In the frame of the national target plan for the welfare of elderly people the HCM City Centre for Public Transport Management reported, that they offer free bus rides to passengers older than 80 years.

In the frame of the national target plan for the welfare of elderly people the HCM City Centre for Public Transport Management reported, that they offer free bus rides to passengers older than 80 years through 2015 year. From 2016 year buses will become free for senior older than 75 years.

The seniors will also get prioritised seating at the front of buses and special support from conductors and bus drivers. Free bus rides are already available for disabled riders and children under 12 years old.
