To meet the growing number of passengers by 50% the subway of Bangkok (MRT) and Airport Rail Link (ARL) will increase the train frequency on 13 January when the mass protests will be held in the capital of Thailand.

To meet the growing number of passengers by 50% the subway of Bangkok (MRT) and Airport Rail Link (ARL) will increase the train frequency, because as expects, the land transport might be blocked during mass protests on 13 January in the capital of Thailand. MRT is also ready to prolong its work up to 2AM instead of currently midnight if it will be necessary.

Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) will launch additional buses from MRT stations to the Rama 9 Road and Thailand Cultural Centre. BMTA also cooperate with military in providing safety at MRT stations.
