Mass political rallies and protests in Bangkok resulted in decline in the popularity of flights to Thailand. That is why Singapore Airlines cancelled 19 its flights to the Thai capital for next weeks.

Usually the carrier serves five flights to Bangkok per day, but in the period from 14 January to 25 February Singapore Airlines will cancel about one in 10 flights to reduce costs and meet demand. Passengers who book tickets for those flights will be able to switch to the other flights or to get their money back.
