Lebak Bulus bus terminal in Jakarta to be closed

Hundreds of bus drivers and crew’ rally caused the closure of the Lebak Bulus bus terminal in Jakarta from 6 January. At the place of the terminal will be constructed shelter for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system.

Hundreds of bus drivers and crew’ rally caused the closure of the Lebak Bulus bus terminal from 6 January. The members of 80 bus companies operated 200 buses require Jakarta Administration to find a new location for them in the South part of the capital.

According to Authorities' decision bus operators will move to Pulogadung and Kampung Rambutan terminals in East Jakarta and to Kalideres terminal in West Jakarta. At the place of the terminal will be constructed shelter for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system.

The Lebak Bulus bus terminal will be closed from 6 January under police and the Transportation Agency' control.
