Seven deadly days started on the roads of Thailand

Yesterday in Thailand was noted the increasing of traffic accident because of the New Year holidays’ beginning.

Yesterday in Thailand was noted the increasing of traffic accident because of the New Year holidays’ beginning. According to the Traffic Police 39 persons died, 399 got injured. In the midnight 28 December public bus involved in an accident in Phetchaburi province that killed 29 people. The bus destroyed fences of the bridge and fell into a ravine, the reason for that – the driver fell asleep.

Road services also warn, that at this time traffic congestions are noted on the way to the the North and Northeast of the country. It is expected that in the coming days the situation on the roads might become complicated. The New Year time in Thailand was named  “seven deadly days”, during this period the number of accidents increase because of active traffic and alcohol intoxication of the drivers.
