Toilets free at the bus and train stations

Transport Ministry of Thailand intends to abolish fees for using the toilets at train and bus stations. Now price is 3 or 5THB.

To better serve low-income earners Transport Ministry of
Thailand intends to abolish fees for using the toilets at train and bus stations.
Now price is 3 or 5THB.

State Railway of Thailand (SRT) supports the Ministry’s free
service idea, but the direction has to seek a government budget to manage the
toilets. Currently SRT have contractors, which are allowed to fix the price.

Transport Co, which operates inter-provincial buses, is
ready to follow minister’s policy, but it has to study the contracts with it's
toilet operators at first.
