Organisers to stage trendy Bangkok flea market in mid January

The organisers of the popular Made by Legacy Bangkok flea market have set the dates and venue for this month’s episode. It will launch on the weekend of 14 and 15 January at the Fortune Town IT, shopping and lifestyle shopping mall.

The market will be staged on the tenth floor of the centre and will be open between 15:00 and 23:00 on each day. Fortune Town is adjacent to the MRT Metro Rama IX Station and close to the Rama IX Road-Ratchadapisek Road crossroads.

Made by Legacy is a must for aficionados of lovable kitsch, retro items, antiques, unique clothing and T-shirts, and old LP music discs. Although some claim items sold can be a little on the expensive side, there are also bargains to be had and it only takes a few minutes of careful browsing.

Bangkok is famed for its wonderful assortment of markets. Recommended markets include Rod Fai Market, Patpong Night Market and the mother of all markets, Chatuchak Weekend Market. Chatuchak is Thailand’s biggest market and its 8,000-plus stalls cover a 25-acre plot of land.

People travelling into Bangkok from upcountry locations, or from neighbouring nations, will find 12GO ASIA the best choice when making ticket reservations.
