Thai Saraburi music fest organisers confirm lineup

The organisers of the 2017 Keep on the Grass music festival have released a list of the singers and musicians scheduled to play. Iconic morlam-soul singer Rasmee, the instrumentalists who form Yaan’s eclectic lineup, Matthew Fischer and the Dead Flowers are among the acts set to make an appearance.

Although billed as the nation’s number one folk festival, Keep on the Grass is in reality a true mix of musical genres but lacking heavy metal and techno. The 2017 edition will take place on 14 January at the Phu Uthai Resort in Muaklek District of Saraburi Province.

The organisers and attendees in previous years claim Keep on the Grass is a relaxing happening and offers a sea change from the standard techno and pop music concerts so common nowadays. They say the beautiful and unspoilt environment of Muaklek District only adds to the pleasures of the music.

12GO ASIA’s travel team says Muaklek District and the Phu Uthai Resort are best reached by travelling to Saraburi first and then getting a taxi. We offer taxi and train reservations services on Bangkok to Saraburi routes.
