Coldplay confirm April 2017 concert in Bangkok

Top UK band Coldplay have added a concert date in the Thai capital of Bangkok to the Asian leg of their current world tour. Late last week, the band posted up bulletins on social media saying a concert at Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium as well as an extra show in Singapore had been tacked onto their schedule.

Coldplay will play their Bangkok gig on 7 April 2017 and tickets will go on sale to the general public on 16 December. Holders of Citi credit cards have the option of buying their tickets four days beforehand via the Thaiticketmajor website.

The Asian dates are part of the group’s A Head Full of Dreams Tour which began at the end of March in the Argentine city of La Plata. They will play the two Singapore concerts as well as one in Manila before jetting into Bangkok.

Although old favourites like A Rush of Blood to the Head are included on setlists for the current tour, Coldplay tends to concentrate on tracks from A Head Full of Dreams and previous album, Ghost Stories. Such is the popularity of the band, tickets for their first Singapore gig sold out within two hours of going on sale.

People travelling into Bangkok for the Coldplay performance, or for any other major event, will find pre-booking their tickets with 12GO ASIA is a practical choice.
