Pattaya Ocean Marina to host fifth edition of annual boat show

The organisers of the annual Pattaya Boat Show say the four-day event will take place as originally scheduled between 24 and 27 November. Ocean Property has issued a statement saying the trade and display side of the event will be as normal, but the social programme will have to be tweaked.

The statement explained that Ocean Marina would not be used for the usual parties, entertainment and social gatherings. It noted that these had been called off to reflect the national mourning period following the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Since its inception, the Pattaya Boat Show has evolved into a premier marine extravaganza. Premium superyacht marques on show this year include Sanlorenzo, Viking and Azimut. Stands promoting the likes of marine products, lifestyle and local property will offer great variety for attendees.

Yacht and boating enthusiasts say the north end of the Gulf of Thailand is a veritable treasure trove with more than 180 islands and heavenly anchorages and snorkelling sites. Tickets for taxis, private vans and buses are one of the most popular purchases for customers who make their travel arrangements with 12GO ASIA.
