The longest flight in the world will be performed by Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines is going to set a world record for duration of non-stop flight. The airline will operate the flight from Singapore to New York for 19 hours.

Singapore Airlines is going to set a world record for duration of non-stop flight. The airline will operate the flight from Singapore to New York for 19 hours, the aircraft will overcome the distance for 16,700 kilometres without any stops.

The pilots will not make a stopover in Frankfurt as they usually do since 2004 year when Singapore - New York route was launched. During this longest flight the cockpit crew should switch four times.

At the end of November the Singapore Airlines’ flight of Airbus A 340 will become a history.
