The train trip from Mandalay to the historic temples of Bagan

Over the past few years, Myanmar has slowly been regaining its place on the Southeast Asian holiday circuit. More and more holidaymakers and travellers are now adding it to their itineraries. 12GO ASIA has added numerous Myanmar routes to an already eclectic ticketing portfolio.

One of these is the perennially popular Mandalay to Bagan trip. The historic royal and colonial edifices of Mandalay and Bagan’s 2,000 plus temples and pagodas are within easy range of the other when you select 12GO ASIA as your travel partner.

Trains for the 180km journey take about 7.5 hours to complete the trip. Seating options are second class only and the day trains are recommended for those wishing to enjoy the unspoilt passing landscapes. People with less time might find an Air KBZ flight a better option as it takes just 30 minutes.

12GO ASIA serves other destinations in Myanmar that include Yangon, Bago, Naypyitaw and Myitkyina in Kachin State. Don’t delay, book your Myanmar journey with 12GO ASIA today.
