Bangkok Comedy Club says few seats remaining for Jimmy Carr

Bangkok’s Comedy Club says two forthcoming shows by top UK comedian Jimmy Carr are almost sold out. The funny man is scheduled to take the stage at the Grand Ballroom of the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel on 11 September 2016.

The Comedy Club has announced via its website that the first show at 19:00 has already sold out, but there are still limited tickets available for the second one at 21:30. The Comedy Club says people still wishing to buy tickets for the second performance should hurry as it is a case of first come, first served.

Carr is set to give Bangkok audiences a rendition of his latest show, Funny Business. The man the UK’s Guardian newspaper has labelled a Comedy Hero for Our Times has taken Funny Business to 200 global locations.

The show portrays Carr at his finest and is an enthralling fusion of jokes, side-splitting anecdotes and off-the-cuff one-liners. An estimated two million people have seen Carr live in a long career that has also seen him star in the likes of the UK’s Royal Variety Performance and TV show Big Fat Quiz Of The Year.

Bangkok’s annual events calendar is diverse and includes everything from raucous comedy club nights to the flagship Songkran water-throwing festival. People in the know choose 12GO ASIA when buying tickets for travel to and from Bangkok.
