Tickets for Elton John Bangkok gig sell like hot cakes

Tickets for Elton John’s forthcoming Bangkok concert have sold quickly, but the organisers say there are still a few left. The iconic British singer-pianist is due to appear on stage at the Thai capital’s Muang Thong Thani Impact Arena on the evening of 29 November.

Tickets priced between THB2,000 and THB6,000 are still available online from ThaiTicketMajor or at the retailer’s designated outlets. The Bangkok date comes as part of the All The Hits tour which has taken the pop superstar to locations including New Orleans, Rome and Hong Kong since it kicked off in Honolulu in January of this year.

The set list concentrates on songs from Elton’s landmark Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album, yet does include other smash hits such as Rocket Man. The singer is bringing his regular support band to Bangkok. This comprises keyboardist Kim Bullard, drummer Nigel Olsson, bass-player Matt Bissonette, guitarist Davey Johnstone and percussionist John Mahon.

Elton John has played over 3,500 live concerts in a career stretching across more than 40 years and music-lovers are guaranteed polished performances which linger in the memory for a lifetime. The award-winning musician is estimated to have sold in excess of 300 million records during his career.
