Buying train and bus tickets for travel from Bangkok

Taking trains and buses through Thailand’s wonderful countryside gives exhilarating glimpses of a part of the world that is totally unlike anything most western visitors have ever seen. Although slower than flying, most people say that taking at least one bus or train is a part of their Thai experience. An added bonus for those looking to save money is that trains and buses are far cheaper.

Bangkok’s two airports are the principal points of entry for the country and, for around 80 per cent of our visitors, are their first sight of Thailand. After spending a few days enjoying Bangkok’s attractions many people like to explore farther afield.

It is possible to buy your own tickets for travel from Hualamphong Railway Station or from the three main bus terminals of Mochit, Ekamai and Sai Tai. The trouble with doing it yourself is that you spend money on time-consuming taxi journeys and then stand in long queues to buy the actual ticket.

What 12GO ASIA does is simplify the process. All travellers need to do is specify when and where they want to go. After that, you only need to pay and then we arrange for the delivery of the confirmed reservation.
