Bangkok Airways signs codeshare with Jet Airways

Thai carrier Bangkok Airways has entered into a codeshare agreement with Jet Airways which is effective from tomorrow. The arrangement will see the two airlines offer joint marketing on their flights between Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport near Mumbai

Peter Wiesner, a vice-president of Bangkok Airways, said the agreement would provide passengers with more options every day when travelling between the two metropolises. He continued by saying it would also give seamless connections to Jet Airways’ Indian network and Bangkok Airways’ Thai flights.

Mr Wiesner noted that Jet Airways’ passengers would also be able to take advantage of his airline’s great amenities. These include gourmet in-flight meals and access to luxurious lounges. He finished off by saying the partnership was the perfect complement for Bangkok Airways other 16 codeshare partners.

Speaking on behalf of Jet Airways, Raj Sivakumar commented that the codeshare would give holiday and business flyers more choice plus was additional proof that the airline was committed to expanding its presence. Tickets are available tomorrow for Bangkok-Mumbai codeshare flights after 3 May 2015.
